Gordon Hartley, one of our active
members, has recently visited Manchester Central Library
to undertake some research. Whilst there he came across several
references to Little Harwood,
and so compiled the list below in the hope that it may be of use
to anyone writing or studying about the area. It also strives to
illustrate the point that many
of the Libraries around the area may hold records that relate to
Blackburn or some of the families that were prominent in our
history. If anyone manages to come across
relevant records of this type please send details in. It may be
possible to arrange for
copies or transcriptions to be made and deposited in the Library.
